Accessibility
Last reviewed: 2 November 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Sumplify, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Every update to the site is checked automatically for accessibility errors before it is published, and new calculators and page types are also tested by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader.
Built-in settings
Select Accessibility at the top of any page to change:
- Text size: 100%, 125%, 150% or 200%
- Line spacing: normal or wide
- Display: standard, high contrast, dark, inverted colours or greyscale
- Link highlighting: underline and bold all links
- Reduce motion: turn off transitions
- Readable font: wider letter spacing for body text
Your choices are saved in your browser on this device only. The site also follows your device’s dark mode, high contrast and reduce-motion settings.
What we do on every page
- Clear headings and page regions, and a “Skip to main content” link
- Text and controls with enough colour contrast; colour is never the only way information is shown
- Every feature works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- Calculator fields have labels and instructions, errors are described in text, and results are announced to screen readers
- Charts have text descriptions and an accessible data table
- Pages work at 200% zoom and on narrow screens without sideways scrolling
- No auto-playing media or flashing content, and no ads that cover the page
Known limitations
- Advertisements are supplied by third parties. We place them in labelled areas that don’t block content, but we can’t fully control their content.
- [List any known issues here and the date you expect to fix them.]
Report a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, please email hello@sumplify.app with the page address and what happened. Accessibility reports are handled with the same priority as error reports.
