Facts and calculations only

Sumplify publishes facts drawn from official public sources, and calculations based on those facts and the values you enter. We do not give opinions, forecasts or recommendations. We do not tell you what to buy, when to buy it, which provider to choose, or whether to invest, borrow, refinance or switch.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, financial product, investment, tax or legal advice. The information does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting, consider whether it suits your circumstances and speak with a qualified professional (for example a tax professional, licensed financial adviser or lawyer).

Estimates and dates

Calculator results are estimates. Each result shows the rules, rates, effective dates and assumptions it uses, and anything it leaves out. Official rules and prices change, and sources sometimes revise their data. Always confirm important figures with the official source linked on the page.

Announced versus in force

When a government announces a change that has not yet taken effect, we label it as announced, legislated or in effect. Calculators use rules that are in effect by default. Announced rules appear only as a clearly labelled “planned rules” option.

Third parties

We link to official and third-party sources and show advertising served by third parties. We are not responsible for their content, products or services, and advertising is not an endorsement.
