GST calculator
Add or remove GST from a price, with the GST amount, from the current GST rate.
Goods and services tax (GST) is 10% of the price before GST, which is one-eleventh of a price that includes GST. So a price of $1,100.00 including GST contains $100.00 GST ($1,100.00 ÷ 11), and $1,000.00 plus GST is $1,100.00.

Good to know
- A business must register for GST when its GST turnover is $75,000 or more ($150,000 for non-profit organisations).
- Some items are free of GST, such as most basic food, and some sales are input-taxed. This calculator assumes GST applies at the standard rate.
